A desktop assistant. A clear starting point.

Explore platform options and what to look for before connecting an assistant to your computer. Installers are not available yet.

BRING HELP TO YOUR EVERYDAY WORK

Your computer, with help on your terms.

A proposed desktop assistant could help with selected documents and approved tools, while keeping permission decisions clear. Check your platform and explore what the experience would involve.

Installers and account pairing are not available yet. You can explore the written examples from a mobile or desktop browser without installing anything.

Installer unavailable

Proposed native platform. Minimum macOS version, permissions and a signed/notarized installer have not been published.

No download, version, checksum or release date is published. Selecting a platform does not detect or connect your device.

A connection you can recognize and control.

In the intended account flow, you would sign in through your browser, check the account and computer being connected, and approve specific access—without copying an external API key. Pairing is not active here.

A future device task would need the paired computer online, the app running and current permissions. Connecting from your phone would not turn an offline computer into a remote worker. Each app connection would need its own clearly approved permissions.

Before an installer becomes available.

A verifiable release

Look for an exact version, supported OS and architecture, authentic signing and a checksum. Update and rollback instructions should accompany the release.

A clear account connection

Pairing should identify the account and device, expire safely and let you revoke access. No API key, QR code or pairing code is requested here.

Permissions you understand

File folders, browser actions and connectors need defined scopes. Cloud processing, retention, updates and telemetry should be explained before consent.

A few useful distinctions.

Can I run a task in the browser now?

No. The Personal explorer contains written samples. It does not run an assistant or provide a cloud sandbox. Mobile visitors can explore the same information without installing anything.

Will a desktop app keep everything on my computer?

That depends on the selected task, tools and processing policy. A desktop interface can still send selected information to a cloud model. The actual data flow must be explained before you grant access.

Is Ask PacinfraX the Personal assistant?

No. Ask PacinfraX helps you navigate this website using local information. It is separate from a future Personal task service and does not perform your work or spend Credits.

Where can I review data handling?

Read the current data-handling information. A future desktop release will need its own applicable permissions, processing and retention disclosures.
